Fantasy Hockey Help

Try to get guys who play a lot of minutes. More ice time = more scoring chances. Look for guys who play the power play. Goals scored on the power play count as power play goals as well as regular goals. Check depth charts, !st line gets the most playing time. Keep an eye on how many games a team plays in a week. You may want to switch somebody out playing only 2 games for somebody playing 4. I hope this helps a little. Feel free to ask anything.

what the.....

2 weeks ago I had 88 points in my fantasy baseball league. Today I have 63. And my teams awesome!?! With a  starting pitching staff of Matt Cain, Francisco Liriano, Yovani Gallardo, John Danks, Rich Harden, Felix Hernandez, Scott Kazmir, Josh Johnson, and Scott Baker I would think more along the lines of the 88 points. I don't know what it is, but a lot of pitchers have been walking a lot of batters. For some reason thier has been a lot higher walk ratio this year. At first I thought maybe it was the umpires with an exaggerated small strikezone or maybe all these pitchers didnt have that high velocity working with thier location because thier off steroids. Who knows? All I know is it's been 2 whole weeks of decline, decline, decline in ranking with my ERA and my WHIP. Not all pitchers have had this problem, unfortunately most who have are on my team. Worse yet, I'm in 2 leagues with basically the same starting pitching staff. Here's to a better second half, and to a non-bust month of September for the METS!!!! Good luck to all!!!!
